Jonathan S. Daitch, MD

Dr. Jonathan S. Daitch earned his medical degree in 1984 from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City and became a board certified Anesthesiologist in 1988.

Dr. Daitch served as a Major in the U.S. Air Force Medical Corps at Wright-Patterson AFB near Dayton, Ohio. While working at Wright-Patterson, he began his specialization in the new field of pain management. As the field of pain management evolved, Dr. Daitch furthered his skills and received board certification in Pain Management. In 1991, Dr. Daitch moved to Fort Myers to provide anesthesia and pain management services at Lee Memorial Hospital. He was instrumental in forming the first pain clinic at Lee Memorial Health System.

In 2001, Dr. Daitch started his private practice, Advanced Pain Management Specialists (APMS), dedicated to the care of patients suffering from chronic pain. APMS was the first office-based pain management practice offering state-of-the-art treatment in Southwest Florida. With the continued success of the practice, APMS added physicians and expanded to Cape Coral.

In 2005, Dr. Daitch achieved the highest certification possible in his field by becoming a Fellow of the World Institute of Pain. He is board certified by the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians and is also certified as an Independent Medical Examiner. Dr. Daitch serves on the executive committee of the Florida Chapter of this society. He also teaches courses on pain management at the state and national level.

On a personal basis, Dr. Daitch is an accomplished violinist, having played since the age of five. He has been the Concert Master of the Gulf Coast Symphony for over two decades. He has also been an ardent supporter of the community through numerous organizations, particularly those surrounding the performing arts and encouraging children to study science.

Dr. Daitch is married and has three grown daughters who have blessed he and wife Bobbie with six grandchildren.
